DESCRIPTION:

Remediation of
Tetrachloroethylene (and its degradation products) in soils via
ISCO using sodium permanganate and tertiary butyl alcohol, to
obtain Closure.
Based on the work
performed and data collected over a 27 months period, prepared
the remediation report for site closure. Characterized the
facility in terms of topography, surface water, regional
geology, and site geology and lithography. Assessed
approximately 113 water and soil samples. Samples analyzed by a
qualified independent laboratory. Determined the distribution
of contaminants in soil and water and evaluated all exposure
pathways and eliminated irrelevant pathways. Demonstrated
successful removal of PCE, via ISCO, from the subject property,
both in soils and in water.
