DESCRIPTION:
|
Tank removal
and sample collection. A contractor, retained directly by the
owner, removed UST systems from two excavation cavities which
formerly contained gasoline Had oversight management over the
independently retained UST removal contractor. Contacted MISS
DIG to identify subsurface appurtenances. Prepared a HASP for
all activities on the site. Because the entire floor of one
excavation cavity was covered by water, collected a single water
sample from floor of that cavity; Collected two soil samples -
one from each end of the floor of the second cavity. Submitted
samples to a qualified laboratory for analysis. Upon receipt of
results, prepared the notice of confirmed release for client to
submit to MDEQ
