ECI follows the professional standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).

the guidance and regulations provided in the
Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) Operational Memorandum#2
which is designed to facilitate implementation of Part 201, Part 211,
and Part 213 of the
Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA), 1994 PA 451, as amended.
